Senior Cloud Ops Engineer

Role Overview The Sr. Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for implementing, operating, and improving cloud platforms and services across AWS and Azure. The role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions, supporting operational activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Cloud Operations. About Role Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and services following established architecture and security standards. Support operational activities, including incident troubleshooting and resolution. Participate in major incident response and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA). Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation. Automate recurring operational tasks, including provisioning, monitoring, backup, and recovery processes. Contribute to improving platform reliability, performance, and scalability. Identify and support remediation of technical debt and operational inefficiencies. Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Security, Networking, and other teams to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise standards. Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures. NOTE: Role based in Hyderabad (Hybrid) with support for EU/US timezones required. About You Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. Knowledge of cloud networking, identity, security, and governance principles. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, CloudWatch). Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation). Experience with Linux and Windows server environments. Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes (operational perspective). Operational & Engineering Mindset Strong understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change) Focus on automation, reliability, and operational efficiency. Ability to balance stability with continuous improvement. Education/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
