Als Senior Cloud Orchestration Engineer werk je aan het private cloudplatform. Centraal staat Morpheus, het cloudmanagementplatform waarmee infrastructuurdiensten geautomatiseerd, veilig en consistent beschikbaar komen. Je ontwerpt, configureert en ontwikkelt Morpheus verder en zorgt voor de integraties met onder andere Nutanix, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, networking, storage en automatiseringstooling.

Je komt in dienst bij Kyndryl en werkt voor een opdrachtgever in de defensie- en veiligheidssector die zijn IT-infrastructuur volledig vernieuwt. Later kun je ook voor andere klanten van Kyndryl aan de slag.

Een groot deel van je werk draait om automatisering en Infrastructure as Code. Met Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Python en REST API's maak je virtuele machines, containerinfrastructuur en netwerk- en storagediensten reproduceerbaar beschikbaar. Security hoort bij het ontwerp: je vertaalt standaarden zoals CIS en STIG naar configuraties en automatisering.

Succes in deze rol betekent dat infrastructuurdiensten herhaalbaar en veilig worden uitgerold, dat integraties betrouwbaar werken en dat problemen structureel worden opgelost.

Wat ga je doen

Ontwikkel het platform

• Ontwerp en configureer Morpheus en ontwikkel het platform en de onderliggende infrastructuur verder
• Integreer Morpheus met Nutanix, RHEL, networking, storage en andere infrastructuurdiensten

Automatiseer

• Automatiseer provisioning en configuratie met Infrastructure as Code en Configuration as Code
• Ontwikkel automatisering met Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Python en REST API's

Beveilig en test

• Implementeer beveiligingseisen volgens onder andere CIS- en STIG-richtlijnen
• Voer test- en acceptatiemanagement uit en houd het actueel

Los op, werk samen en leg vast

• Analyseer en los complexe problemen in Morpheus en gekoppelde componenten op, en documenteer configuraties, beveiligingsmaatregelen, technische keuzes en beheerprocedures
• Werk samen met de specialisten voor networking, virtualisatie, operating systems, identity en IT-servicemanagement

Je werkt hybride: één dag per week op een locatie van de opdrachtgever in Midden-Nederland of Zuid-Holland, één dag op het Kyndryl-kantoor in Hoofddorp en de andere dagen thuis. Parttime werken is in overleg mogelijk. Het salaris is € 78.000 tot € 98.000 bruto per jaar, inclusief vakantiegeld en dertiende maand, afhankelijk van je ervaring.

Daarnaast krijg je onder meer een telefoon en laptop van de zaak, een maandelijkse internetvergoeding en tot vijf weken extra partnerverlof met behoud van salaris. Met de Kyndryl Social Club zijn er regelmatig borrels, Lunch and Learns en sportactiviteiten.

Jouw toekomst bij Kyndryl

Waar je ook naartoe wilt groeien, bij Kyndryl krijg je de ruimte. Je kunt je verder specialiseren in cloud orchestration en automation, de breedte in gaan of doorgroeien naar architect of Distinguished Engineer. Je werkt daarbij samen met ervaren specialisten.

Who You Are

Je hebt een brede infrastructuurachtergrond en zoekt werk dat verder gaat dan traditioneel cloud- of Linuxbeheer. Je combineert diepe technische kennis met engineering, automatisering en troubleshooting.

Vereiste vaardigheden en ervaring

• Minimaal 8 jaar ervaring met Linux-systeembeheer, met RHCSA- en RHCE-certificering.
• Minimaal 5 jaar aantoonbare ervaring in cloudomgevingen en grote enterprise-omgevingen.
• Sterke kennis van cloud management en orchestration, zoals Morpheus.
• Ervaring met Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible-playbooks en geautomatiseerde configuratie. Daarnaast een CKA-certificering (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
• Ervaring met scripting en development-tooling zoals GitLab, Python en REST API's.
• Ervaring met virtualisatie en orchestratie, zoals Nutanix, Morpheus, AWS of Azure.
• Kennis van netwerkprotocollen en securityprincipes.
• Vloeiend Nederlands, de Nederlandse nationaliteit en een Nederlands paspoort, en bereidheid tot een screening door de MIVD (VGB). Kyndryl begeleidt je daarbij.

Gewenste vaardigheden en ervaring

• Aantoonbare werkervaring met Nutanix.
• AWS, Azure of vergelijkbare cloudplatformen.
• Certificeringen op het gebied van cloudtechnologie.
• Securitystandaarden zoals CIS of STIG.
