Senior Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity team in a senior, hands-on role focused on cloud security, security engineering, and security operations. This role can be remote in Ireland with travel to Kerry HQ one to two times per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security controls across Microsoft Azure environments
• Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Lead threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities
• Enhance SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IAM capabilities using tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and Cortex/XSIAM
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to embed security best practices
• Mentor team members and contribute to security architecture and threat modelling initiatives
  
  

Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure security
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IAM technologies
• Scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and modern threat landscapes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  
  

Desirable:

• Azure security certifications (SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500) or equivalent
• CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISM, or similar certifications
• Experience with AWS or GCP security environments
