SENIOR CODE QUALITY ENGINEER
Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our IT Services division as a Senior Code Quality Engineer. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of software integrity, performance, and security across our complex production environments. With over seven years of industry experience, you will serve as a technical authority, guiding architectural decisions, optimizing system reliability, and ensuring that all codebases adhere to rigorous engineering principles. This position is critical for maintaining the stability of our operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable software solutions while evaluating the efficiency and robustness of proposed structures.
- Facilitate seamless API integrations and manage intricate database operations to ensure data consistency and system interoperability.
- Conduct comprehensive performance benchmarking and security vulnerability assessments to proactively mitigate risks.
- Oversee version control workflows using Git, ensuring collaborative efficiency and code history integrity.
- Implement robust error handling strategies to enhance system resilience and simplify long-term code maintenance.
- Produce clear, precise technical documentation and articulate complex concepts through professional written communication.
- Provide expert-level production support, diagnosing issues within large-scale, legacy codebases to restore functionality.
- Evaluate and refine software development lifecycles, including the assessment of AI-generated code for accuracy and security compliance.
- Lead thorough code review processes to enforce quality standards and mentor development teams on best practices.
- Perform deep-dive debugging and root-cause analysis to resolve critical defects and prevent recurrence.
Requirements

- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software development or software engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and system modeling.
- Proficiency in API integration strategies and advanced database management operations.
- Strong background in performance tuning, security analysis, and threat modeling.
- Advanced command of Git and version control systems for collaborative development.
- Demonstrated ability to write maintainable code with effective error handling mechanisms.
- Exceptional technical writing skills with a focus on clear documentation and English proficiency.
- Experience supporting live production environments and navigating complex code repositories.
- Skill in conducting peer code reviews and assessing the output of AI-assisted coding tools.
- Competence in systematic debugging and identifying the fundamental causes of software failures.
