Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Lead comprehensive financial analysis, including profitability reviews, variance analysis, and financial modelling, to support business decisions and optimize performance.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain, commercial, sales) to provide actionable insights that enhance financial decision-making and operational outcomes.
- Provide analytical support for business case development, cost analysis, and evaluation of strategic initiatives to ensure informed decision-making.
- Drive process improvements by supporting the implementation and optimization of financial tools, automation efforts, and standardized processes.
- Perform post-investment reviews to assess the performance of strategic initiatives and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- support efforts to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial data quality, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of financial information.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects, including pricing strategies, cost savings initiatives, and performance tracking, to drive business improvements.

- Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities for Supply Chain
- Delivering insight into productivity, labour, transport, and network costs
- Developing financial models, commercial cases and investment evaluations
- Providing detailed performance analysis and variance commentary
- Supporting strategic projects
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational and financial performance
- Partnering with leaders to solve business challenges and support informed decision making
In this role, you'll:
- Build trusted relationships with Supply Chain leaders and become their first point of contact for financial guidance
- Bring clarity to complex operational and financial information
- Challenge thinking constructively and influence decision making through evidence based recommendations
- Translate data into practical insights that improve business performance
- Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
You'll be an experienced commercial finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and influencing business outcomes.
Essential Experience
- CA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
- Strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering background
- Experience supporting operational leaders in a complex environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability skills
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- Supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or operations finance experience
- Experience supporting capital projects and investment decisions
- Exposure to Power BI & SAP and BW
- Experience analysing operational cost drivers such as labour, transport and productivity
