The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Excellence Specialist to drive commercial performance improvement, standardize commercial processes, strengthen financial and contractual controls, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in commercial strategy, contract management, pricing analysis, profitability optimization, performance measurement, risk management, and cross-functional process improvement.
This role will focus on improving commercial governance, enhancing revenue and margin performance, optimizing contract and tender processes, and establishing consistent commercial practices across projects and business units. The Senior Commercial Excellence Specialist will collaborate with commercial leaders, project managers, procurement teams, finance, legal, engineering, and executive management to improve commercial outcomes, strengthen accountability, mitigate financial exposure, and support sustainable growth in accordance with applicable United Arab Emirates laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial excellence strategies aligned with organizational objectives, project priorities, and financial targets.
- Evaluate existing commercial processes to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, financial exposure, and improvement opportunities.
- Establish standardized commercial procedures, governance frameworks, and performance management practices.
- Collaborate with senior management to define commercial objectives, performance targets, and improvement priorities.
- Monitor commercial performance across projects, contracts, business units, and customer accounts.
- Develop key performance indicators to measure revenue growth, gross margin, profitability, cost performance, and contractual compliance.
- Prepare regular commercial performance reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
- Analyze commercial data to identify trends, deviations, risks, and opportunities for improved financial outcomes.
- Support the development of commercial strategies for new projects, tenders, customer accounts, and business opportunities.
