We are looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst based in Uruguay or Argentina to support the Group's Compliance function across jurisdictions, reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, regulatory affairs and business advisory within the financial services, fintech and payments industries. If you enjoy turning complex regulation into clear, practical guidance for the business, this could be the right opportunity for you!
What you will be doing
Monitor and interpret regulatory developments across applicable jurisdictions, assessing their impact on the Group's operations, products and services.
Provide practical regulatory Compliance advice to business teams, supporting existing operations, new products, services, partnerships and business models.
Conduct regulatory feasibility assessments for new markets and business initiatives, identifying applicable requirements, licensing needs, restrictions and regulatory implications.
Work closely with Product and Operations teams to assess regulatory requirements throughout product development, implementation and ongoing operations.
Support licensing, registration, authorization and regulatory approval processes, including applications, renewals and notifications.
Coordinate regulatory communications, submissions, supervisory requests, inspections and engagements with regulatory authorities.
Maintain regulatory obligations matrices and reporting calendars, coordinating mandatory regulatory filings and monitoring compliance with applicable deadlines.
Prepare regulatory impact assessments and recommendations, supporting the implementation of regulatory changes and the development of Compliance policies and procedures.
Collaborate with local Compliance teams, external advisors and business stakeholders on regulatory matters, governance and reporting across jurisdictions.
Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly Product and Operations, acting as a trusted Compliance advisor.
Collaborate proactively with business teams throughout product development, launches and ongoing operations, ensuring regulatory requirements are aligned with business objectives.
Provide clear, practical and business-oriented guidance to internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with local Compliance teams, external advisors and other relevant stakeholders across jurisdictions.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in compliance, ideally with a regulatory focus.
Degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn regulation into practical guidance for the business.
Previous experience in fintech, payments, banking or other regulated financial institutions is a plus.
Autonomy to work as an individual specialist within a regional team.
Advanced English skills.
Nice to have:
Practical problem-solving skills and sound professional judgment.
High level of autonomy, ownership and organizational skills.
What we offer:
A global environment with teammates living around the world
Opportunities in a fast-paced growing company
A flexible hybrid work model that promotes collaboration while supporting work-life balance
