About the Role

We're looking for a Compliance and Audit Officer to join our growing Risk & Compliance team on the Gold Coast. Reporting into the Compliance function, you'll play a hands-on role supporting internal audit, compliance monitoring and governance activities across the business — helping us maintain the high regulatory and ethical standards our clients and partners expect.

What You'll Be Doing

- Support the delivery of compliance and internal audit activities across the business.

- Conduct internal audits, and loan file reviews.

- Maintain compliance registers, records and action plans.

- Assist with updating policies, procedures and compliance documentation as needed.

- Coordinate monthly compliance monitoring activities and reporting.

- Prepare audit working papers, findings and recommendations.

- Support Compliance Committee meetings and governance activities.

- Coordinate compliance training and maintain training records.

- Assist with external audits and regulatory information requests.

- Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll Thrive Here If You Have

- Experience in compliance, audit, risk, governance or quality assurance (preferred)

- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Confidence working with policies, documentation and reporting

- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- High levels of integrity and accountability

- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an advantage, but not essential

- A qualification (or currently studying) in Business, Compliance, Risk or a related field is desirable

What's on Offer

- Full-time role based on the Gold Coast

- Salary package based on experience

- The opportunity to build your career with Australia's largest privately-owned finance brokerage

- A supportive, values-driven team environment
