Job Description

Build the future with us

As part of our multidisciplinary team focused on data governance and analytics, you will play a key role in advancing our analytical capabilities and the efficiency of our operations.

You will work at the heart of a team comprising analysts, data scientists, and data governance consultants. Your role will combine analytical expertise, an understanding of business needs, operational improvement, and influential leadership.

Beyond conducting data analyses and developing data solutions, we’re looking for someone capable of taking on complex projects, managing priorities and urgent situations, improving our processes, and rallying colleagues around concrete solutions.

What You’ll Accomplish with Us?

As a Senior Consultant – Analytics and Data Solutions, you’ll be at the heart of our mission.

Here are your key responsibilities:

  • Manage complex analytical projects and challenges from start to finish, from understanding the need to developing recommendations, implementing the solution, and following up with partners.
  • Transform data into analyses, recommendations, and solutions that support decision-making and meet business needs.
  • Contribute to the team’s operational excellence by improving planning, prioritization, and work processes, and by responding effectively to urgent or high-impact requests.
  • Play an active role in the team’s operations, including urgent requests and client issues, while evolving work processes through simplification, standardization, and automation.
  • Serve as an analytical partner to business teams to understand their challenges, challenge and clarify needs, and propose the most relevant analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and governance advisors to develop consistent, sustainable, and reusable solutions.
  • Exercise influential leadership by rallying colleagues around priorities, facilitating the resolution of issues, and actively contributing to collective success.
  • Advance analytical practices through coaching, sharing expertise, and supporting team members.

What Could Help You Succeed in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, computer science, engineering, or another relevant field, with at least 7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Possesses excellent analytical, planning, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and maintain rigorous follow-ups.
  • Strong client focus and the ability to act as an analytical partner by understanding business challenges, clarifying needs, and proposing relevant analytical solutions—going beyond simply fulfilling requests.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to exercise influential leadership, engage colleagues, coach, and actively contribute to collective success
  • Very strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI, as well as a good knowledge of other relevant data and analytics tools and platforms.
  • A good understanding of the insurance industry, particularly group insurance, is a significant asset.
  • Experience in coordinating work, leading projects, or mobilizing multidisciplinary teams is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in French is required, as the incumbent will be expected to participate in meetings with executive teams, attend industry conferences, and engage in discussions with experts as part of their research activities.
