The salary range for this position is $92,610- $120,435. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

What the day will look like
As a Senior Consultant, you will serve as the strategic leader and trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients. In addition to providing technical expertise, you will lead high-performing teams, strengthen client relationships, drive operational excellence, and find opportunities to expand and enhance service delivery. You will be responsible for balancing client leadership, team development, business growth, financial stewardship, and technical oversight.
Leadership, Coaching & Team Development
  • Serve as a coach and mentor, providing ongoing feedback, guidance, and development opportunities that support individual and team growth.
  • Act as an approachable leader who inspires trust, encourages open communication, and supports employee well-being.
Client Leadership & Business Development
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key client collaborators, becoming their primary contact for strategic and complex pension administration matters.
  • Understand client’s business objectives, challenges, and benefit strategies to proactively recommend solutions and valuable services.
  • Explore possibilities to develop existing services, expand client engagements, and support business growth initiatives.
Communication & Engagement
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills across a broad range of audiences, including clients, team members, senior leadership, and external partners.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external collaborators through transparency, credibility, and integrity.
Operational and Financial Management
  • Oversight of day-to-day pension administration activities, ensuring service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve the client and member’s experience.
  • Manage the financial health of client, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and profitability management.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Defined Benefit pension administration and consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences and Finance or equivalent work experience, in a relevant industry;
  • Previous work experience in reviewing complex calculations and year end tasks (PAs, Indexation, Annual Statements, etc.);
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams in a client-service environment.
  • Strong business insight, including experience managing budgets, revenue, profitability, sales and client growth opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of Defined Benefit pension legislation, administration practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with project and implementation work, including the ability to apply basic project management methodology.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel, plus Word; knowledge of MS Project and Access is an asset), and strong numerical/spreadsheet skills.
  • French language skills and professional designations such as CEBS, PPAC, CHRP, or equivalent are considered assets.
