Your Tasks Design and deliver innovative IT projects on GCP, with a strong focus on data-driven architectures and modern engineering practices Automate deployments and CI/CD workflows using GCP-native tooling (Cloud Build, Terraform, etc.) Build and evolve cloud distributed systems with an eye toward scalability and cost efficiency§ Provide best-practice consulting and support in the GCP domain Collaborate within the synvert group on GCP-related topics Identify opportunities and risks in customer cloud projects, spotting “Land & Expand” moments where we can extend business impact Engage customers with clear, persuasive communication—from technical deep-dives to high-level roadmaps, adapting style to audience Coaching of practice members, contributing to the success of the GCP cluster at synvert What do we expect from you? > 4 years of experience in the area of Cloud/ Data Engineering & consultancy Experience with hands-on implementation of the GCP Cloud/ Data Engineering projects GCP certifications (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer) or a strong record of delivering successful GCP projects Excellent programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala (other languages a plus) Strong expertise in GCP data services (e.g. BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub) and designing scalable architectures Best practices in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, Pulumi) with a focus on security and compliance Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Information Management or in similar qualifications Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time) German, English: fluent in speaking & writing Good presentation and communication skills What you can expect Agile Company Culture and the best team Culture based on trust, transparency, and self-organization Opportunity to shape the organization and be part of the growth Regular team events and celebrations Continuous Development Smooth onboarding process with the support of your buddy Support by mentors to develop your skills and keep your tech stack up to date Continuous learning with at least 10 training days every year & training budget Flexible Working Work remotely from any location within Germany with regular trips to our Munich office and potentially to customers 20 days of remote work from abroad Freedom to choose your favourite equipment (MacBook, iPhone, Google Pixel, etc.) Other Benefits Fully transparent compensation ranges based on market standards Yearly salary review 30 days of vacation 3 days of charity work Relocation support Urban Sports Club Membership JobRad Job-Ticket (25% discount on the ticket price)
