Senior Consultant, Organizational Change Management

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton.

Our OCM Team is expanding to meet the needs of the University's strategic transformation roadmap. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Change Management, the Senior Consultant, Organizational Change Management, applies various change management practices and methodologies to assist our teams and people in understanding and adopting changes in process, technology, policy and other impacts. A primary focus of this position is to build and strengthen enterprise-wide change management capacity and ensure project changes are sustained post-Go Live. The incumbent provides strategic and operational change management expertise to enable the University to effectively plan for, implement, embed, and sustain organizational change across a diverse and complex environment.

• Leads change management components from design through implementation and assessment for transformation initiatives, while building practices and capabilities that enable sustainable change beyond the life of individual initiatives.
• Develops stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure transformation aligns with user needs. Builds organizational capability to engage stakeholders consistently and meaningfully throughout the change lifecycle.
• Works with other team members to redesign University practices and processes and to promote and sustain enduring change. Supports leaders, project teams, and business areas in developing the capability required to embed new practices and sustain intended outcomes.
• Oversees the development and delivery of user training for sustained change. Supports learning and capability-building strategies that develop both immediate knowledge and longer-term organizational capacity to manage and sustain change.
• Builds and strengthens enterprise change management capability through coaching, knowledge transfer, communities of practice, tools, resources, and guidance for leaders, project teams, and change practitioners.
• Assesses organizational change capacity, readiness, and change saturation across initiatives and provides recommendations to leaders on sequencing, prioritization, resourcing, and approaches to support sustainable transformation.
• Develops mechanisms to measure and evaluate change adoption, organizational readiness, and sustainability, using insights to continuously improve enterprise change practices and capability.

• Bachelor Degree and Certification(s) in Organizational Change Management (Prosci, CCMP, etc.).
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in Organizational Change Management.
• Demonstrated expertise in building organizational change capability, including the development of change management frameworks, tools, standards, communities of practice, coaching approaches, and sustainable change practices.
• Demonstrated ability to advise and influence leaders and stakeholders through complex, enterprise-wide transformation and organizational change.
• Strong understanding of organizational readiness, change capacity, change saturation, adoption, sustainability, and benefits realization.
• Ability to translate change management theory and methodology into practical, scalable approaches that can be embedded within organizational practices and sustained over time.

This position has a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary range of $78,194 to $130,331.
