Are you the kind of consultant who thrives on building trusted client relationships, driving business impact, and shaping the future of software solutions?

About Wolters Kluwer & the Team

Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information, software solutions, and services. We empower professionals in sectors such as healthcare, tax & accounting, finance, compliance, and legal to make informed decisions with confidence. By combining deep domain expertise with innovative technology, we help our customers navigate complexity, improve productivity, and achieve better outcomes.

With colleagues and customers around the world, we foster a culture built on collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and customer success.

Within Wolters Kluwer, the Tax & Accounting division supports accounting firms with innovative software solutions that help them streamline operations, improve efficiency, and deliver greater value to their clients. As the industry continues to evolve through digital transformation, automation, and changing regulatory demands, we are committed to helping our customers stay ahead.

Our Practice Management team plays a key role in this mission. Working closely with customers, product teams, sales, and support colleagues, we help accounting firms optimize their processes, maximize the value of our solutions, and successfully navigate change.

About the Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to accounting firms across the Netherlands. You will take ownership of a portfolio of customers, helping them maximize the value of our solutions while identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

This is a highly autonomous role for a self-starter who enjoys working directly with customers, taking the lead on complex projects, and influencing outcomes. Beyond implementation and consulting, you will have a direct voice in product development by sharing customer feedback and helping shape future enhancements.

Success in this role means building long-term customer partnerships, preventing customer churn, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring successful adoption of both existing and new solutions.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Practice Management software solutions for customers.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of accounting and tax professionals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, understanding customer business challenges and translating them into software solutions.
  • Support Account Managers during pre-sales activities and customer engagements.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding solution adoption within existing accounts.
  • Facilitate customer workshops, presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and support customers through change and transformation.
  • Analyze market developments and customer needs within the Dutch Tax & Accounting sector.
  • Partner with Product and Research teams to provide customer insights and influence product roadmaps.
  • Support product testing and quality assurance activities prior to customer rollouts.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues when needed.

What Makes This Role Interesting?

  • Own your customer portfolio and make a measurable impact on customer success and retention.
  • Shape the future of our solutions by influencing product enhancements and roadmap decisions.
  • Operate like an entrepreneur within your customer base, with a high degree of ownership, trust, and autonomy.
  • Play a critical commercial role by supporting pre-sales activities and uncovering growth opportunities.
  • Combine strategy, consulting, and relationship management in one dynamic position.
  • Work directly with decision-makers and help customers achieve meaningful business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the launch and adoption of innovative new products entering the market.
  • Join a team where your expertise, ideas, and initiative truly matter.

Your Profile

You are a proactive and commercially minded consultant who enjoys taking ownership and building strong customer relationships. You are equally comfortable discussing business strategy with decision-makers, leading workshops, and coordinating complex customer engagements.

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior consulting, business consulting, or client-facing advisory role.
  • Knowledge of the Dutch Tax & Accounting market.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales activities and customer solution discussions.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to translate customer business processes into software solutions.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused thinking.
  • A self-starting, self-managing mindset with a high sense of accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
  • Fluency in Dutch and professional proficiency in English.

What We Offer

  • A full-time position within an international, market-leading organization.
  • A hybrid working model combining flexibility with collaboration.
  • The opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals across multiple disciplines.
  • Significant autonomy and ownership in managing your customer portfolio and projects.
  • Exposure to strategic customer engagements, product innovation, and business growth initiatives.
  • Continuous learning opportunities and access to professional development resources.
  • Clear opportunities to grow into senior leadership, people management, or broader regional roles.
  • The chance to make a visible impact on customers, products, and business outcomes.
