- Preparing detailed quantum calculations and valuation schedules.
- Reviewing claims for prolongation, disruption, loss and expense, overheads and other additional costs.
- Reconciling claimed amounts against contemporaneous records, invoices, applications for payment and cost ledgers.
- Preparing cost comparisons, reconciliations and supporting schedules, primarily in Excel.
- Identifying gaps, inconsistencies and areas requiring further supporting evidence.
- Assisting with the preparation of appendices, exhibits and schedules supporting expert reports.
- Maintaining clear audit trails between source documentation, calculations and conclusions.
- Supporting the Quantum Expert with queries and further analysis arising during preparation of the expert report.
- Where required, assisting with the review and analysis of opposing party submissions and quantum assessments.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong practical experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a main contractor or major subcontractor.

- Good understanding of construction contracts and contractual entitlement.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to analysis.
- Ability to produce clear, well-organised calculations that can withstand detailed scrutiny.
- Ability to work independently while taking direction from a Quantum Expert.
- Ability to prepare reports on quantum related matters would be advantageous.
- Work on high profile international disputes and expert witness appointments.
- Become or retain position as an industry leading expert in engineering and construction law.
- Access to continuous professional development and advanced legal/technical training.
- Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with opportunities for global travel.
- Join a culture that values integrity, accountability, commitment, and teamwork
