Senior Consultant – Ripple Treasury (GTreasury) Implementation

Your role:

Zanders is an independent consultancy specialising in treasury, risk and technology, advising multinationals, financial institutions and public sector organisations for over thirty years. Cloud treasury platforms are a growing part of that work, and Ripple Treasury (formerly GTreasury) is one of them. We are building our India team around treasury technology implementation, and this role is part of that. You will work on global engagements alongside colleagues in Europe and beyond: client-facing, from scoping through go-live. This is advisory and implementation work, not offshore support.

The work is Ripple Treasury implementation specifically. Cash visibility and forecasting, payments, liquidity and in-house banking, netting, financial risk and bank connectivity, and the integration with the client's ERP and banks that makes them work together. If you have taken those through design, configuration and go-live, this role is built for you. If your treasury systems background is limited to support or administration, it is not.

You join a team of experienced consultants who share knowledge openly and hold each other to a high delivery standard. You will own your own workstream on client engagements: planning it, running it and standing behind the quality of what you deliver. Alongside project work you will contribute to business development, and you will have a real say in how the India practice develops rather than inheriting a fixed model.

Practical details, because they matter: the role is remote within India, with travel to client sites and Zanders offices, including Europe, as projects require. Because our clients are global, some of your working hours will overlap with European and occasionally US time zones.

Your background will be in Ripple Treasury or GTreasury implementation, in either a consulting or corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end Ripple Treasury implementations: scoping, planning, design, configuration, testing, data migration and go-live.

• Configure Ripple Treasury across cash visibility and forecasting, payments, liquidity management and in-house banking, matching the design to how the client's treasury actually runs.

• Set up financial risk functionality, covering exposure management for foreign exchange and interest rate risk, with the related reporting.

• Design and build the integrations: bank connectivity, ERP and accounting interfaces, and market data and other third-party feeds.

• Translate client treasury requirements into platform solutions: identify the underlying need, evaluate the options, and advise on where standard functionality should and should not be extended.

• Own your workstream end to end: plan it, keep scope, quality and timelines on track, balance competing demands and raise risks early.

• Contribute to overall project planning with a longer-term view, anticipating dependencies and adjusting your plan to keep delivery on track.

• Work within cross-functional teams spanning technical, functional and client resources to keep delivery moving.

• Set clear expectations with client stakeholders and keep a constructive dialogue running: give and invite feedback, surface issues before they become problems, and make sure everyone works from the same understanding.

• Advise clients more broadly on their treasury technology landscape, including current practices, roadmap direction and vendor selection.

• Build working relationships with the clients you deliver for, and help identify new business and project opportunities in India and internationally.

• Contribute to proposals, RFPs, client presentations and networking activity.

• Stay current with Ripple Treasury releases and the wider treasury technology market, connect what you learn to the client and business context, and share it with the team through knowledge sessions and internal training.

• Contribute to building the India practice: internal initiatives, an inclusive team culture, and practical improvements to how we work.

Skills to be successful

Essential

• Four to seven years implementing treasury management systems, including hands-on Ripple Treasury or GTreasury implementation from design through go-live.

• Hands-on configuration across the core of the platform: cash and liquidity management, payments, and bank connectivity.

• Working knowledge of corporate treasury processes: cash management and forecasting, in-house banking, payment factories, and treasury and risk management.

• Experience integrating a treasury system with ERPs, banks and third-party providers such as SWIFT and market data providers.

• Experience owning a workstream on implementation projects, and comfort working directly with clients to resolve difficult problems.

• Business-fluent English, and willingness to travel within Asia and to Europe as projects require.

Also valuable

• Experience with other treasury management systems such as Kyriba, SAP Treasury, FIS Quantum or IT2.

• Experience implementing financial risk, hedging or netting functionality.

• Experience in a consulting environment.

• Familiarity with digital assets and stablecoin treasury use cases.

• Experience with ERP integration (SAP, Oracle or similar) from the treasury side.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, engineering or a related field.
