The Senior Consultant, Tax Technology supports clients in delivering digital tax transformation initiatives and building tax-enabled ERP and compliance solutions. The role contributes to the design and implementation of solutions across SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), helping integrate indirect tax, direct tax, and transfer pricing requirements into scalable business processes and global compliance models.

The Senior Consultant works closely with client tax, finance, and technology stakeholders, supporting solution design, business process analysis, requirements gathering, and project delivery. The role also contributes to the successful implementation of technology-enabled tax solutions while collaborating with senior team members and helping deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:


ERP Tax Design & Implementation Delivery

  • Support the delivery of ERP tax workstreams across SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including requirements gathering, solution design, testing coordination, and go-live readiness.
  • Support the integration of tax requirements into key business processes, including order-to-cash (O2C), procure-to-pay (P2P), intercompany, and record-to-report (R2R).
  • Assist in documenting tax-related controls, configuration requirements, and process flows.

Global E-invoicing, SAF-T & Real-Time Reporting Requirements

  • Support impact assessments, solution design, and implementation activities related to e-invoicing, SAF-T, e-reporting, and real-time reporting mandates.

Tax Engine & Compliance Provider Integrations

  • Support the integration of ERP systems with tax engines and compliance providers (e.g., Sovos, Pagero, Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara).
  • Support the functional design of tax determination, invoicing flows, reporting, monitoring, and audit trail requirements.

Tax Automation, Data & Analytics

  • Support the development of tax automation and analytics solutions that improve data quality, transparency, and governance.
  • Assist with tax data acquisition, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting across ERP and tax systems.

Team Contribution & Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with colleagues across multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative working environment.


Education and Experience:

  • 5-7 years of combined tax and technology experience (e.g., VAT/GST advisory, ERP transformation, tax compliance technology, transfer pricing data/process enablement).
  • Experience supporting tax-enabled ERP implementations and/or e-invoicing / digital compliance solutions.
  • Solid understanding of indirect tax; exposure to direct tax and/or transfer pricing is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in project-based delivery environments.


Computer Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, and/or D365) and familiarity with tax engines and compliance providers.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and interface with multiple external vendors and clients as necessary.
  • Independent travel requirement.
