The Senior Content Writer is responsible for directly assisting the Team Lead in creating high-quality, search engine-optimized content. This role would see you create and research content related to online slots, online casinos, and gambling in general. Experience and knowledge in this field is a strong asset. You should also have excellent grammar and editing skills and be familiar with SEO concepts such as keywording and meta data. Ideally, you will have:

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Optimization:

• Writing of website copy, including reviews, blog posts, commercial pages, guides, and other ad hoc content tasks.
• Conduct basic keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Implement on-page SEO techniques (e.g., keyword placement, meta descriptions, image optimization, suggest content layout changes).

Content Research & Analysis:

• Research and gather information relevant to assigned topics.
• Assist in analyzing website traffic data and identifying areas for improvement.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.

Team Support:

• Collaborate with SEO Content Team Leads to ensure content quality and consistency.
• Assist with content scheduling and publishing.
• Assist with content editing and providing feedback to junior writers.
• Contribute to team brainstorming sessions and content strategy discussions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Content Quality:

• Adherence to style guides and brand guidelines.

• Timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Delivery of up to 3k words per business day.

• Incorporation of basic SEO best practices in written content.

Learning & Development:

• Active participation in training sessions and workshops.

• Demonstrated growth in SEO knowledge and skills.

• Successful completion of assigned learning tasks.

Team Contribution:

• Active participation in team meetings and discussions.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a content role within iGaming.

• Strong understanding of editorial principles and best practices.

• Experience using AI assisted writing tools.

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the field
