Senior Controller – Germany & Czech Republic

About the role

MicroNova’s Automotive Testing business is becoming part of BlueBinaries, and our activities in Germany and the Czech Republic will continue under the NovaBinaries brand.

As a Senior Controller, you will play an important role in the financial planning and performance management of our German and Czech entities. Working closely with management, Accounting, and Group Finance, you will turn financial data into meaningful insights, support sound business decisions, and contribute to effective financial planning across the organization.

The position can be based in either the Czech Republic or Germany.

Your mission

• Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, and variance analysis, turning financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations for management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, helping to ensure reliable and forward-looking financial management.
• Monitor business performance, analyze key performance drivers, identify areas for improvement, and provide management and Group Finance with relevant financial insights.
• Support liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management, as well as project and investment controlling, including tracking performance against approved business plans.
• Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting and the timely delivery of management and Group reporting requirements.
• Coordinate reporting requirements with the German holding company and Group Finance.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and management reporting tools and help continuously improve controlling processes, systems, and reporting quality.

Your profile

• You have a university degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
• You bring 5–8 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or a similar finance role.
• You have strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting and a solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and key business performance drivers.
• You have experience with Group reporting and consolidation processes, ideally in an international, multi-entity environment.
• You are confident working with ERP systems such as DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or comparable solutions and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• You communicate confidently in German and English and bring strong analytical and communication skills, together with a professional approach to stakeholder management.

It would be a plus if you have experience with IFRS and multinational reporting environments, knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, or a background in technology, software, or another growth-oriented business.
