About Endowus

Endowus is an award-winning, independent fee-only wealth platform licensed in Singapore (MAS 101051) and Hong Kong (SFC BQR225). We serve over 300,000 clients—individuals, family offices, charities, and institutions—with over US$12 billion in assets under advice.

Our mission: help people invest better so they can live easier today, and better tomorrow. Today, we work with 100+ global leading asset managers across major asset classes – public markets, private markets, hedge funds and alternatives – and make it our job to assess and access their Best-in-Class funds, and advise clients on how to invest in these funds to reach their goals.

The team has deep domain knowledge in finance and technology, bringing together decades of experience from various banks and tech companies. We treasure our diversity in background and experience, and we look for people who share these beliefs in our mission.

About this role; responsibilities & ownership

The Endowus Business Development and Partnerships team is a pivotal business unit that maintains and leverages key corporate relationships to extend and amplify Endowus’ reach. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development and Sales Lead with existing deep corporate relationships and financial services / fintech experience to determine our corporate client strategy, lead and scale a high-performing BD team, build and maintain strong corporate relationships, and to accelerate Endowus’ client growth through corporate channels.

This is a Senior Lead role reporting to the CFO and Head of Strategic Partnerships, and is based in Singapore.

Sales Leadership & Pipeline Management

  • Own the BD revenue plan: set annual and quarterly targets for accounts opened, funded and AUA, and cascade them into individual goals across the team.
  • Run the sales operating rhythm, including weekly pipeline reviews, deal reviews and monthly forecasting with clear action plans.
  • Define and continuously improve the sales process, covering lead qualification, proposals, onboarding hand-off to CX and account growth.
  • Maintain pipeline coverage against target across all BD pipelines, and act early on stalled, slipping or single-threaded deals.
  • Own pipeline discipline in HubSpot (accurate stages, owners, notes and next steps) and the dashboards that report on it.
  • Analyse win/loss and conversion by segment and stage to sharpen targeting, messaging and pricing conversations.
  • Build sales playbooks, pitch materials and objection handling so that each segment is sold consistently.

Strategic Planning & Implementation

  • Lead identification and prioritisation of new business opportunities that extend Endowus’ reach, target new segments and scale the business.
  • Take new B2B and B2B2C offerings from business case to launch, working with Product, Legal and Compliance, and external partners.
  • Develop and refine business models and strategic plans to support long-term growth objectives.
  • Support CFO in evaluation of strategic alliances and acquisitions where they accelerate distribution.

Client Engagement and Partnerships:

  • Originate, manage and nurture partner relationships from C-suite to working level across corporates, charities, associations and fund managers.
  • Engage with corporations, communities, associations, and investors to expand our client base.
  • Personally lead and close the most complex, multi-year partnerships, and act as executive sponsor on key accounts.
  • Introduce Endowus investment services to a variety of corporates and non-profit organisations.
  • Design and run Endowus-led event series (e.g. CFO lunches, charity reserves roundtables, CHRO forums), webinars and seminars, with conversion of attendees into pipeline tracked and reported.
  • Write thought-leadership articles for target segments (e.g. corporate treasury, charity reserves) that generate pipeline, with Marketing and Compliance review.
  • Scale existing initiatives such as the Fund Manager Staff Investment Programme, Corporate Treasury Solution, Corporate Retirement Solution and Corporate Wellness Programme.

Collaborative Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with Client Advisory, Investment Office, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal and Compliance teams to drive business development-related initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives and strategies.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Coach Business Development Associates and Analysts through regular 1:1s, joint client calls and deal reviews, and address underperformance early and constructively.
  • Recognise performance against targets, and help shape incentive design with People and Finance.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, promoting shared learning and success.

Requirements & qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  2. 10+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales or partnerships in financial services, wealth management or fintech, or in investment banking or management consulting with significant client-facing origination responsibility, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue or origination targets.
  3. Proven ability to build relationships with C-suite clients and partners
