Senior Corporate Legal Counsel
broad corporate role wih exposure to board-level decision-making
As Senior Corporate Legal Counsel, you provide practical legal advice on corporate, commercial and project matters in a business with significant operational and safety exposure. You support the Management Board, General Counsel and key global staff functions, including Ethics & Compliance, Finance, Procurement, and Sustainable Fuels & Renewables. Responsibilities span corporate and commercial law, group governance, competition law and M&A, as well as coordination of external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
Profile
- Dutch law degree and around 6 years’ experience, gained at a reputable law firm
- strong grounding in corporate law (‘Boek 2 BW’), drafting and negotiating documentation, interest in AI and legal tooling is a plus
- self-starter with solid business acumen and the ability to balance short-term business needs with long-term company interests
- fluent in Dutch and English
