Senior Cost Analyst | Hybrid | Buenos Aires

In partnership with a global company operating in the renewable energy sector, MyT Global Recruitment is hiring a Senior Cost Analyst to join its Cost Control and Operational Excellence team in Argentina.

This role will be responsible for monitoring operational and contract costs, supporting budgeting activities, analyzing P&L deviations, and providing financial insights to support cost and revenue targets across the LATAM South region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the detailed composition of hourly rates and their cost components.
• Review and approve costs impacting hourly rate accounts.
• Monitor cost allocations and follow up with Finance teams.
• Track site expenses against budgets, identifying risks and preventing unnecessary financial impacts.
• Analyze and challenge costs allocated to contracts by areas such as Supply Chain, Transportation, Service Operations and Service Sales.
• Support annual budgeting and cost-control activities.
• Analyze P&L deviations and provide business-focused recommendations.
• Prepare financial analyses and reports for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Finance, with a strong focus on cost analysis and control.
• Experience with budgeting, operational costs and financial performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced Power BI skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with complex financial information, deadlines and multiple business areas.
