Marsh Türkiye is seeking candidates for “Senior Counsel” to join our management team based in Istanbul office! Marsh's Legal, Compliance and Public Affairs (LCPA) department promotes a culture in which ethical, lawful, and risk mindful behavior is encouraged and reinforced. We are looking for a commercially oriented in-house counsel to support the corporate legal needs of its Marsh businesses.
The position will report to the Chief Counsel Marsh Italy, East Med & Caspian Region, who is based at the Company’s headquarters in Italy. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of working three days in the office per week.

We will count on you to
- Serve as a trusted advisor to various levels of Company management on a broad range of Marsh’s brokerage and risk advisory businesses in Türkiye
- Handle the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of contracts, including domestic and global client services agreements, RFPs with prospective clients, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements and technology contracts.
- Support the business in developing, drafting and negotiating strategic alliance agreements, joint marketing agreements and referral agreements with third parties, including in the reinsurance, cyber and technology space.
- Provide advice and counsel to the Company’s innovation initiatives as the business seeks to develop new products and solutions.
What you need to have
- A bachelor’s degree in law with 7+ years’ experience in insurance sector
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Energetic, self-motivated and result-oriented
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Excellent judgment, excellent communication and negotiating skills, financial acumen, project management skills, and a willingness and ability to work as a part of a team.
