Senior Counsel – Patent Litigation

ADLI Law Group is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel – Patent Litigation with an existing book of business ($250K+). The ideal candidate will lead complex IP cases, contribute to firm growth, and deliver strategic, high-impact results for clients.

Position Overview:

ADLI Law Group seeks an experienced Senior Counsel – Patent Litigation attorney to join our Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing patent disputes, leading litigation teams, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role is designed for a motivated attorney with a proven record of success and an established portable book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all stages of complex patent litigation, including discovery, claim construction, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients on patent enforcement, defense, and licensing matters.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and litigation support teams.
• Develop litigation strategies aligned with client goals and business priorities.
• Expand and service existing client base through business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar (California preferred).
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in patent litigation.
• Portable book of business of $250,000+ required.
• Strong understanding of patent law, IP litigation, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Technical background in engineering or sciences preferred (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields).
