We're hiring a creative strategist, and the main thing we're offering is enough room to do the work well.
Who we are
Tok-Vibes is a creative strategy studio for 7 to 9 figure DTC brands. They hand us their ad account and their footage, and we hand back the creative that scales it. Everything we make is direct response, built from research rather than guesswork.
We're doubling this year, so whoever joins now will end up running more of this than they would anywhere else.
The role
You'd own the creative testing on two or three brands. Not five or six.
Our creative director sets the initial vision and research direction with you, so you're never staring at a blank page on your own. From there the deep research is yours, and so is every angle that comes out of it.
Two or three brands is how many a person can actually be in the accounts for every week, dig properly into, sit in strategy conversations about, and think about with any real attention. Most agencies hand you five and call it opportunity. We think that's how the work gets worse.
You own the number
You're measured on delivering on time and whether the creative worked.
Winners in the account on your brands, every sprint. That's the number, and it's yours.
You can't own a result you didn't have time to think about.
What that looks like week to week
Deep research. This is the biggest part of the job and it's yours. Reviews, Reddit, comments, competitor ad libraries, until you can hear the customer talk. Every single thing we test has a reason behind it, and you can say what it is in one sentence.
Writing the brief. Hooks in six words or fewer. Clear enough that an editor can shoot it without asking you a single question.
Reviewing the edit, same day. When a cut comes back it's yours and the clock is running. An edit sitting in your queue overnight is a batch that misses the week.
Reading your ad accounts. Daily. You'll have access and we expect you to use it, because you can't own a number you're not looking at.
Learning from every test. Every batch goes into the roadmap with the reason we shipped it, so we come back and actually learn something.
Why this has to be full time
Because the room is the whole offer, and it disappears the moment you're fitting us around other clients.
If you've got us plus three other brands on the side, you're back to six, and you'll do all of them at seventy percent. We'd rather pay you properly for two or three and have every one of them be your best work.
Full time, exclusive, online 8am to 4pm EST Monday to Friday. That window is when edit reviews, briefing and strategy conversations happen, so it isn't flexible.
We're active on Slack all day and we expect you to be too. Not watching it every second, but present. If someone needs you, you're reachable, and if you're stuck you say so rather than going quiet.
What success looks like
By week three, your first ad is live, because your brief was clear enough that the editor executed it perfectly with no back and forth.
By month two, your client is happy because the creative is getting results.
By month six, you're holding your brands without being chased, and you're producing winners in the account every sprint.
Who this isn't for
You want to keep other clients and fit us around them.
You're not reliably available during working hours, or you go quiet on Slack for half a day.
You want to be told what to test rather than work it out.
You've worked on one brand and you're hoping we'll be your second.
You've never had access to an ad account, so you don't know what your work actually did.
Someone else wrote the briefs you executed.
You send a first draft and let someone else fix it.
You think edit review is admin rather than the job.
What you need to have done
Ads you briefed that scaled, with the spend behind them. Ads Manager screenshots or a dashboard, not a showreel.
The brief you wrote for one of them. A portfolio shows us the finished ad. The brief shows us it was yours.
At least two years as a creative strategist, across more than one brand. Direct response, not brand content and not organic social.
The money
$3,000 to $4,000 a month, depending on your experience and how many brands you're holding, with room above that as we grow.
Paid on the 30th, the same amount every month, whether it's a four week sprint or a five week one. Performance bonus every 12 weeks on top.
You move up when you can hold the brands you already have. Not time served. The rule is written down and it's the same for everyone, so you never have to ask for a raise.
Remote, anywhere in Latin America.
How we work
We move fast. Today, not next week, and we beat deadlines rather than meeting them.
We take initiative. Nobody hands you a task list.
We overcommunicate. Reply fast, don't ghost, say it the moment you're stuck.
We never stop getting better. This craft is the thing we're all obsessed with.
And one rule. Do the right thing even when no one is watching.
How to apply
Send us your portfolio, ads you briefed with proof of spend, the brief behind one of them, three to five headlines you're proud of, and a two to three minute Loom telling us who you are and why this role.
