Senior D365 Consultant (Belgrade OR Budapest)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant to join a major European organisation and play a key role in the continued development and international implementation of its D365 Finance environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced D365 Finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on functional expertise with project leadership and stakeholder management.

The Role

You will take ownership of Finance-related processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, working closely with Finance teams, IT, developers, architects and external partners across multiple countries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning and developing D365 Finance processes including GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets
• Gathering and translating business requirements into functional solutions and system designs
• Configuring and optimising D365 Finance modules
• Driving standardisation and D365 best practices
• Leading and supporting international D365 Finance implementation projects
• Defining project scope, objectives and timelines
• Leading internal IT project teams and coordinating external partners
• Acting as a trusted advisor between Finance and IT stakeholders
• Supporting integrations alongside developers and solution architects
• Managing and supporting UAT, training and go-live activities
• Providing second-line support and driving continuous improvement
• Ensuring appropriate documentation, compliance and governance

What We're Looking For

We would like to speak with candidates who have:

• 3–5+ years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / Dynamics AX
• Strong functional knowledge across Finance modules including:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Budgeting
• Reporting
• Consolidation
• Experience leading or playing a senior role within international ERP projects
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Experience working within complex, multi-country organisations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills across both business and technical teams
• Fluent English

German language skills would be a strong advantage but are not essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant Dynamics 365 Finance / F&SCM or Project Management certifications would also be beneficial.
