Senior Data Analyst [Healthcare/ Insurance domain - English fluent]

About the role

We are hiring a hands-on Data Specialist with strong Healthcare analytics experience to independently build scalable, data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate has deep healthcare domain knowledge, strong analytical thinking, experience with complex datasets, working knowledge of ML, and an AI-native approach. The role focuses on end-to-end ownership, with opportunities to guide junior analysts when needed.

Job Descriptions

• Lead healthcare analytics initiatives across claims, clinical, member, provider, cost, utilization, quality, and population health.
• Translate complex healthcare/business problems into clear analytical approaches and actionable insights.
• Design and build scalable analytics solutions, reusable data assets, dashboards, and decision-support tools using large healthcare datasets.
• Collaborate with Data Science/ML, Business, Clinical, Product, and Technology teams to deliver practical, high-impact solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity in analysis, coding, documentation, and insight generation.
• May mentor junior analysts when required, while remaining primarily hands-on.
• Open for many candidates who are willing to work remote fulltime based Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh, do not accept intern/ expat

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare/health analytics, healthcare data, insurance, payer/provider, health-tech, life sciences, or healthcare consulting (Must have)
• English fluent (speaking and writing)
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, processes, and analytics use cases.
• Proven experience building scalable, big-data analytics solutions or data products.
• Strong hands-on experience with large and complex datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Python & PySpark.
• Working knowledge of Machine Learning concepts such as feature engineering, model evaluation, and interpreting model outputs.
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, AWS/Azure, or cloud data platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as ICD, CPT, DRG, SNOMED, LOINC, or HEDIS is a plus.
