Location: Poland (Fully Remote)

Salary: €80,000 – €90,000 gross per annum

We are recruiting for an experienced Principal Data Architect to join an international technology organisation, helping businesses transform how they manage, structure and utilise their data.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior data professional who combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, commercial awareness and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

You will play a key role in shaping enterprise data strategies, designing scalable data architectures and helping organisations unlock the full potential of their data through modern analytics, AI and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide data strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Design scalable, secure and efficient data architectures and infrastructure.
• Advise senior stakeholders and clients on data transformation initiatives, technology selection and best practices.
• Establish data governance frameworks covering data quality, security, compliance and management.
• Oversee the integration and optimisation of modern data platforms and technologies.
• Support the adoption of advanced analytics, AI and machine learning solutions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor technical teams and promote data-driven decision-making.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Architecture or Data Strategy roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale data transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms, data ecosystems and integration architectures.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, security and compliance.
• Good understanding of AI, machine learning and advanced analytics.
• Experience advising senior business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical strategies.
• Strong technical leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance technical decision-making with wider commercial and business objectives.
