🏛️ Senior Data Business Analyst - SQL / Oracle (French Speaker)

Permanent contract or B2B | Hybrid (2 days/week on site) | Porto

🏛️ The context

Our client, a leading French banking group, is strengthening the data team of its IT hub in Porto. You will be the link between business stakeholders and Data Engineers, BI and Analytics teams.

French speaker role: French C1 minimum is required (French-speaking business stakeholders, specifications written in French). CVs in English only.

🎯 What you will do

• Data exploration: write complex SQL queries on Oracle tables to understand structure, business rules and anomalies
• Requirements: turn business needs into clear technical requirements with the Data teams
• Specifications: draft functional and technical specs, including source-to-target data mapping
• Stakeholder support: give business teams a realistic view of the data actually available
• Testing: design and run functional tests and technical data reconciliation

👤 What we are looking for

• Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, ideally on data projects
• SQL: advanced queries (JOINs, subqueries, analytical functions)
• Oracle: hands-on with PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, DBeaver or SQL Developer
• Data modeling: tables, views, primary/foreign keys, Data Warehouse and Data Marts concepts
• Languages: French C1 minimum and good English
• Location: based in Porto or relocating, with the right to work in Portugal
