Introduction

As a Senior Data Engineer based in our Tech Hub in Porto/Portugal, you will work for Studio71, the creator-focused digital media company of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, and strengthen its existing data engineering team in Germany. Together with your new colleagues, you will shape the data foundation behind Studio71's business: turning data from sales, campaigns, creators and platforms into trusted datasets, insightful reporting and data-driven decisions. Working closely with stakeholders from Finance, Sales and Product, you will design and run the pipelines that connect our billing processes, Salesforce and our analytics platform – and help bring artificial intelligence into our everyday data work. You will take ownership of your topics and drive them.

What you can expect in this role

Design, build and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for billing and revenue processes using Python, Airflow and dbt
Model and optimize data in Snowflake and Databricks to ensure the accuracy, completeness and traceability of invoicing-relevant data
Integrate data from Salesforce and other source systems and provide trusted datasets and Power BI reports for Finance, Sales and Management
Use AI and LLM-based tools to automate data processes, improve data quality and accelerate development
Contribute to general Python projects beyond data pipelines, such as internal tools, automations and services
Collaborate with our Salesforce engineering on the implementation of billing-related features and continuously improve our way of working in an agile team

Your essential experience and education

University degree in computer science, information technology or a related technical field, or comparable practical experience
6+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in billing, invoicing or other revenue-related domains
Must-haves: Strong Python and SQL skills as well as hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt and Snowflake. Also, experience with AI/ML or LLM-based tooling in data or engineering workflows
Nice-to-haves: Experience with Databricks and Power BI; first experience with Salesforce (data model, APIs or feature development)
Strong communication and networking skills, with the confidence to represent the Studio71 data team and build effective connections across the 7.1 Tech Hub.
Fluent in English (Portuguese and/or German language proficiency is a plus)
