Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing, or BI development.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric (Mandatory)
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience developing and supporting SSIS packages and ETL processes.
- Experience with Fabric components such as Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, or Dataflows Gen2.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data integration, and data transformation.
- Experience with relational database design and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to develop and optimize stored procedures, views, functions, and complex SQL queries.
- Experience troubleshooting data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and integration failures.
- Understanding of data validation, error handling, monitoring, and data quality.
- Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and data sources.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Understanding of OneLake and Medallion Architecture.
- Experience with Power BI datasets or semantic models.
- Experience integrating ERP systems such as SAP.
- REST API and file-based integrations.
- Git, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data integration solutions using SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS.
- Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
- Integrate data from ERP systems, applications, APIs, databases, and files.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Support migration and modernization of legacy data workloads toward Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement data validation, monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and scheduled ETL processes.
- Support data warehouse and Lakehouse structures for downstream analytics.
- Collaborate with BI, application, and business teams on data requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.
