For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Data engineer with Snowflake, dbt and Python (REMOTE) About the role: The role is focused on migrating existing data marts and data feeds from a legacy OCI/BI environment to a modern cloud-based data platform. In addition to hands-on development, the consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, gather and refine requirements, support migration strategies, and proactively share technical knowledge with the client team. Key Responsibilities: Migrate existing data marts and data feeds from a legacy OCI/BI environment to a modern cloud data platform. Design and implement modern data solutions using Snowflake, dbt, and Python . Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Support migration planning and implementation activities. Contribute to process improvements and share technical knowledge within the project team. Work closely with an international, agile team. Must-have Skills Strong hands-on experience with dbt, Snowflake, and Python . Excellent SQL skills and experience working with Oracle databases . PL/SQL knowledge is considered an advantage. Solid understanding of business processes and technical dependencies. Experience designing and building modern cloud-based data architectures. Experience with Claude Code . Very good English; German is a plus. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to mentor and share knowledge. Nice to Have Basic AWS knowledge. Experience with performance optimization. Previous experience in insurance, healthcare, or large-scale enterprise data migration projects. Apply now!
