Senior Data Intelligence Analyst – Microsoft Fabric, Power BI & AI

This is a remote position.

Our client, a European leader in reproductive medicine, is looking for a Senior Data Intelligence Analyst to transform complex clinical, operational and commercial data into trusted metrics, actionable insights and production-ready analytical products.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining Power BI development, semantic data modelling, business analysis and stakeholder collaboration. You will independently own analytical solutions from initial business requirements through data modelling, KPI definition, development, validation and delivery.

You will also contribute to FutureLife’s transition towards Microsoft Fabric and AI-augmented analytics, helping create a reliable semantic foundation for dashboards, self-service analytics and AI-enabled data interaction.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements from business stakeholders.
  
• Translate business questions into KPIs, analytical models and reporting solutions.
  
• Design and maintain business and semantic data models.
  
• Develop governed measures and calculations using DAX.
  
• Build dashboards, reports and reusable analytical products in Power BI.
  
• Perform detailed analysis and translate findings into actionable business insights.
  
• Validate data, calculations and conclusions with relevant stakeholders.
  
• Ensure consistent KPI definitions across reports and business functions.
  
• Independently manage analytical solutions from requirement gathering to production delivery.
  
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data availability, structure, quality and transformation requirements.
  
• Create clear documentation for semantic models, business definitions, KPIs and analytical products.
  
• Help prepare Power BI semantic models for AI-assisted and natural-language analytics.
  
• Contribute to the development of scalable and governed BI practices.
  

Requirements

• Senior experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering or a similar field.
  
• Strong hands-on Power BI development experience.
  
• Advanced DAX skills.
  
• Strong SQL skills.
  
• Strong knowledge of semantic and dimensional data modelling.
  
• Experience designing fact tables, dimensions, relationships and star schemas.
  
• Proven experience defining and governing business KPIs.
  
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical analytical solutions.
  
• Experience owning BI or analytical products end to end.
  
• Strong data-validation and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and challenge unclear or inconsistent business requirements.
