Senior Data Scientist

Location: Onsite - Birkirkara, Malta (4 days per week in office)
Reporting to: Head of Data & Analytics

Your mission

• Own the experimentation framework across departments, setting the standard for how tests are designed, run, and read out.

• Build models and deploy them to production, from LTV, churn, and player value to bonusing and segmentation.

• Measure the impact through A/B testing and rigorous analysis, so decisions are backed by evidence.

• Work closely with teams across the business, including data engineers, CRM, product, and commercial, to understand their needs and deliver solutions that fit.

• Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations, and support the business with ad-hoc analysis when it matters.

• Maintain and improve models in production, keeping them healthy, accurate, and trusted over time.

• Bring creative thinking to open-ended problems, and proactively spot opportunities where data science can add value.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of models and analyses that made it into production and drove decisions.

• 2+ year of experience in igaming.

• Strong background in statistics and experimentation, including A/B testing and causal inference.

• Solid hands-on machine learning experience, and the judgment to know when a simple approach is the right one.

• Excellent Python and SQL skills.

• Experience working in a modern data stack (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Airflow) and taking models from notebook to production.

• Experience building with AI models, and genuine comfort using AI to accelerate your work.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
