Requisition Title : Senior Design Stress Engineer Locations Phoenix, AZ, USA (Hybrid) Client : Honeywell  (Aerospace Domain Mandate)  Duration : C2H Pay Rate : $42.5-$44/hr ON C2C Exp : 7 -12yr Max Keywords to find:::: Design, stress, aerospace, CAD, drawing Must have skills : Experience working with local and remote teams in a collaborative team environment Background in FEA or CFD a plus Ability to express technical information in a clear and simple way Work as a team member in a technical project environment. Must be self-motivated and able to think 'outside the box' Nice to have skills : Ability to Read & Understand engineering drawings Preparation of CAD drawings (2D and 3D) Knowledge of Engineering Mechanics & Strength of Materials Strong background in ANSYS Strong background in NX Strong Analytical skills Strong Knowledge of GD&T Very strong mechanical engineering analysis and design background Excellent communication and coordination capabilities Roles & Responsibilities: Review base materials/treatments, specifications and customer requirements Perform required stress analyses on component and assembly levels as required Create and release stress reports Create drawing update justification reports Update drawings in NX Follow drawing update and approval process in PLM tool Act as subject matter expert to the analysis and design teams when required Report project status during regular internal and external meetings. Typical reports would include updates on project status, assumptions, information needed, and overall program health
