Senior Dev (React + Node) - 100% Remoto (España)

Description

At The Whiteam Consulting we are looking for someone who has hands-on experience and discuss trade-offs, own mistakes, and drive solutions independently without needing pre-digested specifications. Candidates should not only have high fluency in book-level "best practices" and documentation but also be able to demonstrate concrete execution experience on larger-scale, enterprise projects. Candidates should be up-to-date with current web standards, performance optimization, security, and modern cloud/web patterns.

Main responsibilities

• Drive solutions independently from problem identification to implementation.

• Evaluate and communicate technical trade-offs.

• Apply engineering best practices in real-world enterprise projects.

• Contribute to scalable, secure, and high-performing web solutions.

• Stay current with modern web standards and cloud/web technologies.
  

Required skills

• 10+ years of proven hands-on experience on large-scale enterprise projects.

• Ability to discuss technical trade-offs and decision-making processes.

• Experience working autonomously and taking ownership of solutions.

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.

• Knowledge of modern web standards, performance optimization, and web security.

• Familiarity with modern cloud and web architectures and patterns.

• Languages: Spanish (bilingual/native), English (C1).

Preferred experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale web applications.

• Experience applying performance and security best practices in production environments.

• Experience working with modern cloud-based solutions and architectures.
