Senior Developer - Atom & Core AI, IT AI COE

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, a technical-related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years' experience developing distributed/scalable systems Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++ Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code Proficiency developing and consuming APIs Thorough understanding of what it takes to deliver an application from inception to production Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Opinionated but you appreciate an environment where feedback is freely given, and your ideas are challenged Comfortable mentoring other developers Experience working with the OpenAI SDK, and AI frameworks Understanding of AI principles (LLMs, Models, RAG, Agents, etc.) and experience with integrating AI into overall solution design Have shipped an AI driven application to production Comfortable using coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude Code, or Cursor to improve developer efficiency Experience with AI platforms like Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Glean a plus Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI services is a plus Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $106,400 to $133,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
