PROJECT

Join a global engineering environment focused on improving Developer Experience (DevEx) and making software delivery easier, faster, and more consistent across engineering teams.

You will work on golden-path templates, reusable engineering patterns, automation, developer tooling, and self-service onboarding, helping teams adopt standardised and production-ready solutions at scale.

The role combines hands-on software engineering with platform engineering and developer enablement, with a strong focus on automation, standardisation, documentation, and continuous improvement.

YOU WILL

• Build and maintain golden-path templates, reusable patterns, and reference implementations that accelerate onboarding and reduce variation across engineering teams.
• Develop real-world examples based on production projects that teams can directly adopt and reuse.
• Improve and automate self-service developer onboarding, enabling solutions to scale across a large engineering organisation.
• Build and enhance developer tooling, automation, templates, and onboarding assets.
• Gather feedback from engineering teams through office hours, developer communities, and communication channels, and translate pain points into practical improvements.
• Work with relevant engineering teams to resolve developer experience issues and track them through to completion.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation, how-to guides, and implementation examples.
• Ensure templates, examples, and engineering guidance follow production standards for security, resilience, observability, and supportability.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Risk & Control teams to deliver practical and compliant solutions.

MUST HAVE

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience with at least one of the following:
  • Java
  • Kotlin
  • Node.js
• Proven experience building and delivering automation, reusable templates, reference implementations, developer tooling, or onboarding solutions.
• Good understanding of Developer Experience (DevEx) and how standardisation and automation can simplify software delivery.
• Experience creating reusable engineering patterns or solutions that can be adopted across multiple teams.
• Strong production engineering mindset, including security, resilience, observability, and supportability.
• Ability to create clear and practical technical documentation, how-to guides, and examples.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering, platform, architecture, and product teams.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience working in Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, or Internal Developer Platforms.
• Experience creating golden paths / paved roads for engineering teams.
• Experience with developer self-service solutions and large-scale engineering environments.
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
