- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Operations, Architecture and wider business teams.
Essential Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' commercial software development experience using C# and .NET.
- Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.8 or later.
- Experience creating and executing manual software tests.
- Experience building or maintaining automated test solutions.
- Experience in manual testing
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience using Git-based version control.
- Ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Healthcare software or healthcare technology experience.
Desirable
- Experience working with HL7 integrations and interoperability solutions.
- AWS Cloud experience.
- Experience modernising legacy .NET Framework applications to modern .NET platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with observability, logging, monitoring and application performance tooling.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration pipelines.
- Experience balancing technical debt, product delivery and long-term platform sustainability.
We're looking for a well-rounded engineer who enjoys both building software and assuring its quality. You'll be comfortable moving between development, testing, troubleshooting and technical design while working within a collaborative healthcare technology environment.
The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering reliable, scalable and maintainable software solutions while helping healthcare organisations improve outcomes through technology.
