act digital is a multinational company present in 12 countries, which combines local agility and global expertise to act as a strategic partner for our clients in delivering customized and scalable solutions. In Portugal, we have around 120 clients and a team of over 400 people, working on projects in sectors as diverse as Banking, Insurance, Transport, Aviation and Energy. We're a cross-regional team, reengineering a huge java-based application hosted on linux servers into a microservices kubernetees hosted application with kafka message broker with a goal to have a highly available, scalable and observable product aligned with established standards. We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a bachelor degree in computer science, 5+ years devops experience in banking or similar industry. Main Tasks: Design, build, maintain CI/CD pipeline. Processes automation Manage infrastructure; monitor system performance & stability Collaborate with dev and infra teams to enchance system quality Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple envs Technical skills: Unix/Bash - Mastery Kubernetees/Docker/Kafka - Expert Jenkins - Expert Helm, Gradle(groovy), Ansible, SQL, Java - Practice ServiceNow - Notions Language Skills: Fluent in English - Mastery Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Mastery Location: Hybrid working model in Lisbon.
