Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.

• Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our client’s cloud environments.

• Configure and manage logging systems to collect and analyze logs for troubleshooting and security purposes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.

• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to optimize cloud infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on cloud infrastructure-related matters.

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related incidents in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code principles with hands-on experience using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar solutions.

• Knowledge of logging solutions such as AWS CloudTrail, ELK stack, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior startup experience.

• Experience solving insurance industry/domain-related challenges.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of serverless computing and experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related services.
