Senior Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Own the performance, availability, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure and application environments, proactively identifying and addressing performance risks.
• Design, improve, and maintain automated deployment pipelines and DevOps processes to enable reliable, efficient, and consistent application delivery.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources and services, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, security, and adherence to infrastructure best practices.
• Develop and enhance internal tools, scripts, and automation solutions that improve infrastructure management, operational efficiency, and engineering productivity.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure and application issues, collaborating with Development and Operations teams to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies, tools, and practices and drive improvements to infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Maintain technical documentation covering infrastructure architecture, configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures, while supporting knowledge sharing across the team.

Key Qualifications

• 3–6 years in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE
• End-to-end ownership of production Kubernetes (operations, upgrades, incidents — not just deployments)
• Strong infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and CI/CD pipeline design
• GitOps in practice (Argo CD or Flux)
• Solid scripting in Python and Bash, with the aptitude to grow into building internal tooling
• Cloud platform depth
• Demonstrated ownership: has built something other teams depend on and kept it running
• Ability to set technical standards and drive priorities in a small team; mentoring experience
• Preferred experience with Internal Developer Platform (IDP) tooling such as Backstage, Port, or similar custom-built platforms.
• Preferred to have Helm/Kustomize, observability stacks.
• Preferred to have experience in regulated or fintech environment.
