Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS EKS) | Remote [Colombia]

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team supporting high-traffic digital platforms for a client in the Media & Publishing industry. You’ll own and evolve production Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS and help engineering teams ship faster and more reliably.

What you’ll do

• Design, operate and upgrade Amazon EKS clusters in production.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for services written in Java, PHP, Node.js and Go.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform (or CloudFormation/CDK).
• Support and monitor relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (Redis/ElastiCache, Couchbase, DynamoDB).
• Improve observability, scalability, security and cost efficiency across environments.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong, hands-on Amazon EKS experience in production. This is a must.
• Solid AWS knowledge: VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3 and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Docker, Helm and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or similar).
• English: [B2+/conversational].

Nice to have

• Couchbase or Redis performance tuning.
• Experience in media, streaming or other high-traffic environments.
• CDN experience (CloudFront, Akamai, Fastly).
• AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer Professional, Solutions Architect) or CKA.
