As our new Senior DevOps Engineer (GitHub Platform), you will help enterprise customers modernize software delivery platforms by designing, implementing, and operating GitHub Enterprise solutions. You will support the adoption of GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, InnerSource, and GitHub Copilot while enabling secure, scalable engineering practices. Working closely with customers and delivery teams across multiple regions, you will contribute to platform modernization and developer productivity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Enterprise Server environments
• Lead migrations from GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps to GitHub
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Configure GitHub organizations, repositories, permissions, governance policies, GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub Copilot, and security controls
• Integrate GitHub with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, identity providers and enterprise tooling
• Define and implement DevOps, DevSecOps and platform engineering best practices  
• Deliver customer workshops, assessments, enablement, pre-sales support, solution design, and technical delivery

What we need to see from you

• Solid experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering roles in Azure DevOps/Azure DevOps Server environments
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud and/or GitHub Enterprise Server 
• Experience delivering migrations from GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps to GitHub 
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD automation toolset
• Experience with code security tools and practices (GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk etc)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar) 
• Experience with cloud platforms (such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP) and with Docker and Kubernetes 
• Knowledge of modern DevOps and DevSecOps practices 
• Effective communication, consulting skills, and experience working with enterprise customers
