Brief Job Overview The Senior Director, Global Commercial Enablement (GCE) serves as the senior leader for USP's Commercial Operations team, providing executive leadership for a growing global commercial hub that enables the delivery of critical business capabilities supporting commercial execution, customer experience, strategic insights and operational excellence. As a part of the India Leadership team and Senior Director, Commercial Enablement, this role is responsible for cultivating a high performing culture, drive engagement, and scale organization that empowers global commercial functions to execute effectively. The Senior Director will provide leadership across a diverse portfolio of teams—including Customer Success, Marketing, Marketing Operations, Strategy, Insights & Analytics, and Product Management—while partnering closely with global functional leaders who retain ownership of functional strategy, priorities, and business outcomes. This leader champions organizational excellence by building leadership capability, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the Commercial team operates as a trusted, high-impact extension of USP's global commercial organization. Success in this role requires the ability to influence across a highly matrixed, multinational environment while balancing strategic leadership, operational discipline, and people development. Successful candidates will possess the ability to inspire people, influence without direct functional authority, strengthen organizational capability, and create an environment where global commercial teams can consistently deliver exceptional business outcomes. The Senior Director, Global Commercial Enablement (GCE) has the following responsibilities: Shape the long-term success of the Commercial Enablement team by building a world-class organization recognized for leadership excellence, operational discipline, talent development, and the consistent delivery of high-quality commercial capabilities. Demonstrate strong leadership , establishing a culture grounded in purpose, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning that inspires teams to perform at their highest potential. Develop and empower leaders at every level , building a strong leadership pipeline through coaching, succession planning, talent development, and a commitment to employee growth and engagement. Serve as the executive partner to global functional leaders , ensuring their organizations have the operational environment, leadership support, workforce capabilities, and organizational infrastructure needed to successfully execute their strategic priorities. Champion organizational excellence by supporting operational rigor, overseeing governance, and continuous improvement that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability across the commercial hub. Lead organizational growth and capability development , aligning workforce planning, resource optimization, and capability building with the evolving needs of the global commercial organization. Foster enterprise collaboration by strengthening partnerships across functions, geographies, and leadership teams, enabling seamless execution, and reinforcing a One USP operating culture. Drive organizational performance through disciplined execution, data-informed decision making, measurable outcomes, and a relentless focus on operational excellence and customer impact. Represent and elevate the Commercial Operations team as a strategic global capability partner by cultivating a strong organizational identity, promoting leadership excellence, and continuously enhancing the site's reputation as a trusted partner to the business. Implement and refine an integrated GCOC operating model , including governance, talent management systems, and service catalog Lead a growing organization that includes Customer Success, Technical Service, Marketing, Marketing Operations, Strategic Analytics & Insights and Product Management teams to engage stakeholders across regions Drive adoption of standardized processes and global best practices. Strengthen performance analytics, sales operations, and revenue operations capabilities. Collaborate within a global matrix, ensuring execution and evolution of functional strategies and programs Manage KPIs, SLAs, and performance reporting. Build, develop and inspire a high-performing, scalable team to deliver for USP Stakeholders. Provide strong senior leadership on-site and shape the culture of that team Promote continuous improvement and efficient, consistent execution. Who is USP Looking For? The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience: Master’s degree in business administration required. 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial operations, global business services or comparable multinational organizations. Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional organizations with responsibility for organizational performance, talent development, and operational excellence. Experience providing administrative or operational leadership across multiple business functions while partnering with functional executives to enable successful execution of business priorities. Proven experience operating effectively within complex, highly matrixed, global organizations, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions, geographies, and leadership levels. Experience building, scaling, or transforming global capability centers, shared service organizations, or centers of excellence is strongly preferred. Experience leading organizational growth, workforce planning, change management, and capability development in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
