How You’ll Contribute:
Diversified is seeking a strategic, hands-on finance leader to build and lead its global treasury function. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director will oversee liquidity, cash visibility, banking, debt, treasury risk, and controls - turning financial data into recommendations that support growth and capital decisions.
The role partners with the Executive Leadership Team, Tailwinds, lenders, and regional finance teams to establish consistent global processes and provide practical guidance on liquidity, financing, and capital priorities.
Location: Virtual U.S.
What You’ll Do:
Treasury Strategy and Infrastructure
- Develop and execute a global treasury strategy that protects liquidity and supports growth.
- Establish the global banking and cash-management structure to improve visibility, access, control, and efficiency.
- Build the treasury team and operating rhythm; clarify decision rights and partner with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Audit, and regional Finance.
- Integrate treasury operations for new businesses and markets, including cash, banking, controls, and funding.
Liquidity and Working Capital
- Own the enterprise liquidity outlook and establish reliable global cash reporting and forecasts.
- Challenge forecast and working-capital assumptions, model downside scenarios, and identify funding needs early.
- Partner with business and regional finance teams to improve working capital and cash conversion.
Capital, Debt, and Transactions
- Advise the CFO and ELT on how operating decisions, investments, and acquisitions affect cash, leverage, and access to capital.
- Evaluate capital structure and financing options and lead treasury execution of debt and credit transactions.
- Administer credit facilities and monitor covenants, leverage, debt maturities, and facility availability; escalate risks and recommend mitigation.
- Lead treasury work for refinancings, acquisitions, divestitures, and other sponsor priorities, from diligence and funding plans through closing and integration.
- Maintain constructive relationships with banks and lenders; present clear recommendations to the CFO, ELT, Tailwinds, lenders, and the Board.
Global Operations, Risk, and Controls
- Coordinate cash reporting, funding, payments, and treasury execution with regional finance teams; ensure timely, accurate delivery.
- Assess foreign-exchange and cross-border cash exposure; partner with Tax and regional Finance on practical risk responses and cash movement.
- Establish consistent standards for bank access, signatories, approvals, cash movement, and treasury reporting.
- Step into critical forecasts, transactions, bank discussions, or cash issues when hands-on judgment is needed.
Measures of Success
- Provides leadership with dependable visibility into cash, liquidity, and funding requirements.
- Identifies risks early and presents practical options to the CFO.
- Establishes consistent regional treasury processes and controls, with clear ownership and useful reporting.
- Builds credibility with the ELT and Tailwinds through sound judgment, direct communication, and hands-on engagement in critical details.
What You’ll Bring:
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive treasury experience within a PE-backed portfolio company with responsibility for global liquidity, banking relationships, debt and capital planning.
- Demonstrated experience building or significantly transforming treasury processes, infrastructure, or capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of global cash management, forecasting, banking operations, cross-border payments, debt facilities, covenant compliance, and foreign-exchange risk.
- Experience leading treasury work across entities or geographies and influencing senior executives; people or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, communication, judgment, and presentation skills, including the ability to advise executive and investor audiences.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with detailed execution and work effectively across a matrixed organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; CTP, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
