This role will serve as a key leader within the Market Access organization, developing and executing field access strategies that align with Corcept’s commercial goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Patient Services (HUB), Trade & Distribution, Payer & Channel Strategy, Legal, and Compliance teams to identify access barriers and develop field-based solutions to overcome them. This is a high-impact leadership role with a focus on team development, access strategy execution, operational excellence, and cross-functional partnership — all in the service of helping patients start and stay on life-changing therapy. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Strategy Lead, mentor, and manage the national FRM team, providing strategic direction, coaching, performance feedback, and professional development Define and drive national field access strategy for Korlym and Relacorilant, aligning with overall Market Access and Commercial goals Establish and monitor KPIs, productivity metrics, and business objectives to ensure consistent performance and impact across regions Oversee field deployment, territory alignments, and resource allocation for optimal coverage and efficiency Design, implement, and oversee the FRM team’s MBO (Management by Objectives) plan and incentive compensation structure, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, compliance standards, and individual performance metrics Cross-Functional & External Collaboration Serve as the primary liaison between the FRM team and internal stakeholders including Sales, HUB, Patient Services, Trade, Market Access, Legal, and Compliance Partner with Sales Leadership to align field access strategies with account planning and pull-through efforts Collaborate with Marketing to ensure field teams are aligned on messaging, access tools, and reimbursement support materials Interface with HUB leadership and SP partners to ensure seamless patient support and issue resolution processes Provide strategic insights and feedback to Payer and Trade teams regarding payer policy trends, access barriers, and reimbursement landscape dynamics Operational Excellence Lead regular team meetings, field rides, and best practice sharing forums to maintain alignment, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement Review and analyze field intelligence, access data, and patient support trends to identify barriers and proactively develop strategies to address them Develop and manage budgets, travel, and team operations in compliance with company policies Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure all field access activities meet appropriate guidelines and regulations Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies: Proven success leading a national or large regional team of FRMs, Access Specialists, or equivalent roles Deep knowledge of payer policy, reimbursement processes, HUB services, specialty pharmacy distribution, and patient support programs Exceptional leadership and people management skills with a track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams Strong cross-functional collaboration experience, especially with Sales, Marketing, Patient Services, and Trade/Channel partners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead across levels and functions Demonstrated ability to translate field insights into strategic access initiatives and pull-through solutions High degree of business acumen, project management, and analytical thinking Ability to travel up to 50%, including field visits, conferences, and internal meetings Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA) preferred 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry with a minimum of 5 years in reimbursement, market access, or patient services, and 5+ years of direct leadership experience managing field teams Experience in rare disease, endocrinology, or specialty pharma Launch experience is a plus, especially for therapies with complex access pathways #LI-Remote The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is $212,200 - $300,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
