Position Summary
The Senior Director of IT is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the Company’s technology environment, ensuring systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology services effectively support business operations and organizational growth. This role develops and executes the Company’s technology strategy while maintaining a secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective IT environment.
Reporting directly to the CFO while working closely with executive leadership and business partners, the Senior Director of IT identifies technology needs and opportunities, leads technology initiatives, manages third-party service providers and vendors, and establishes standards and processes that support the organization. This position serves as the Company’s senior technology leader and requires the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on involvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an IT strategy and roadmap aligned with Company objectives, operational
- needs, and future growth.
- Provide leadership and oversight for the Company’s technology infrastructure, systems,
- applications, hardware, software, telecommunications, and end-user technology.
- Ensure IT infrastructure supports a distributed workforce and multiple operating locations.
- Coordinate multi-site IT systems via enterprise resource planning.
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity standards, controls, policies, and practices designed to
- protect Company systems, information, and technology assets.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technology and cybersecurity risks and support business continuity
- and disaster recovery planning.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of
- technology solutions, including the Company’s CRM, ERP, HRIS, and ancillary applications.
- Manage relationships, performance, service levels, and escalations with managed service
- providers and other technology vendors.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and maintain a data infrastructure that will enable
- real-time visibility into financial and operational KPIs across location and service lines.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, technology investments, licensing, contracts, and vendor
- negotiations while identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.
- Establish scalable processes and standards for user access, technology provisioning, asset
- management, system administration, support, and technology lifecycle management.

- Partner with leaders across the organization to understand business needs and identify
- technology solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
- Lead technology projects and implementations, including planning, vendor coordination,
- communication, change management, and successful deployment.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation, and standard operating
- procedures.
- Monitor technology trends, emerging risks, and evolving business needs and recommend
- appropriate technology investments or changes.
- Provide hands-on technical support and problem resolution when necessary, particularly for
- complex or escalated issues.
- Perform other duties and lead special projects as assigned.
- M&A Onboarding and Integration: Lead IT due diligence for acquisitions, including systems
- assessment, cybersecurity, and integration planning. Standardize technology platforms and
- processes across acquired entities to achieve synergies and operational consistency.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive information technology experience, including significant IT leadership or management responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing technology strategies, processes, and solutions that support business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, access controls, data protection, and technology governance.
- Experience managing third-party technology providers, vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level performance.
- Experience supporting technology needs across both remote and office-based work environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and predominantly Windows-based environments.
- Experience evaluating, implementing, and managing enterprise hardware, software, SaaS applications, and technology platforms.
- Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to remain hands-on when needed while maintaining strategic oversight of the IT function.
Preferred
- Experience with ERP, HR, and CRM systems, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience managing Microsoft environments, contact center platforms (e.g. Dialpad), virtual server environments, and service desk/ticketing environments SharePoint, OneDrive, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Experience supporting technology operations in a multi-location or rapidly growing organization.
- Track record of successful IT integration in M&A transactions
- Experience with disaster restoration or other field service industry.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. Company-issued equipment, including a laptop and other required technology, will be provided.
Associates are expected to maintain a professional remote work environment with reliable internet access and the ability to perform their job duties effectively and professionally. The position requires extensive computer use and frequent communication through video conferencing, telephone, email, and other collaboration tools.
Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
This position requires flexibility in work schedule based on business needs, which may include extended workdays and occasional work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek.
This role does not require travel.
Physical Demands
Work is performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, including a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office technology. The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment and communicate effectively through verbal and written means. The associate may occasionally be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift.
