We’re recruiting an Intermediate / Senior Electrical Engineer to join a specialist engineering design consultancy working on major data centre and mission-critical projects.

With flexibility on seniority, this opportunity is suited to engineers looking to develop their expertise and take on greater responsibility, as well as experienced professionals ready to manage electrical design packages and contribute to complex project delivery.

The Role

• Design critical electrical systems, including HV/MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, transformers and switchgear.
• Prepare electrical calculations, load schedules, single-line diagrams, specifications and technical documentation.
• Apply resilience, redundancy and maintainability principles to electrical designs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Review technical submissions and support construction-stage design queries.
• Take responsibility for electrical design packages and deliverables appropriate to your experience.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Electrical design experience within a building services, MEP or engineering design consultancy.
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of critical power systems and electrical design calculations.
• Strong technical, coordination and communication skills.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit and relevant Irish or European standards.

Experience with power-system study software and exposure to commissioning or integrated systems testing would be advantageous.
