Comfortable turning data into clear recommendations for clients and internal teams.

Can communicate the objective, audience, offer, angle, CTA, segmentation, and desired customer experience clearly.

Strong client relationship skills
Builds genuine trust with clients.
Understands the client's business and remembers their preferences.
Learns from previous client feedback instead of repeatedly making the same mistakes.
Can distinguish between client preference, strategic best practice, and personal preference.

Comfortable with ambiguity
Can walk into an account with incomplete information and figure out what needs to happen.
Doesn't need a perfectly defined process for every situation.
Makes good judgment calls independently.

Strong leadership and mentorship
Helps junior and mid-level strategists improve.
Can review briefs and strategy and explain why something should change.
Raises the strategic quality of the department rather than only managing their own accounts.

High ownership and reliability
Does what they say they'll do.
Meets deadlines consistently.
Flags risks early.
Doesn't need to be chased by PMs or Department Heads.

Comfortable working at a fast agency pace
Can handle multiple accounts without quality dropping.
