Job Description
This is a remote position.
The English Senior Tutor at SEHYOG Academy is responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction across the UK curriculum (Key Stage 2 to A-Levels), including English Grammar, Creative Writing, English Language, English Literature etc. The role combines teaching excellence with academic leadership, involving mentoring junior tutors, monitoring student progress, developing curriculum-aligned resources, and maintaining strong communication with parents. The ideal candidate has extensive UK curriculum teaching experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to academic excellence.
Requirements
Strong command of English Language, Literature, and Creative Writing.
Proven experience teaching GCSE and other UK curriculum standards.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong classroom and behaviour management.
Ability to lead and mentor junior tutors.
